IT Systems Administrator
CBAI & Associates is looking for an individual to fill a position as an IT Systems Administrator for IT Support Services at the Defense Distribution Depot, Warner Robins, GA. A brief description of the requirement follows: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) activities located on the Warner Robins Georgia installation requires Information Technology (IT) services for hardware, software, and telecommunications to support all IT equipment, to include network servers, Personal Computers (PCs), printers, portable computers, Teklogix Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, Smart Carts, LAN/ WAN hardware/software and other miscellaneous IT equipment.
Requirements include the performance of services to analyze, implement, install, evaluate, document, integrate and provide support to the end-users and LAN. The DLA network consists of Microsoft Windows XP Professional-based workstations and Windows Server 2003-based servers, ADIC backup library supporting 600 to 700 users; DLA has a production LAN for DSS, NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and a separate LAN for Wireless RF.
Specific duties of the IT Systems Administrator are:
· Monitor computer/server logs.
· Create, modify, and delete Active Directory/email accounts for approved users.
· Develop and maintain group policy per DDC/DLA standards.
· Develop and maintain Ghost Images for approved DDC/DLA hard drives.
· Develop and maintain the local intranet web pages.
· Develop and conduct class training for IT related topics as needed.
· Perform backups for all critical systems and data.
· Perform Technical Advisory Services. Provide customer with technical advice or solutions when needed. Research technical solutions to meet customer requirements or improve customer operations and provide technical support to customers.
· Assist the J-6N IT on-site support staff in applying pertinent Defense Information Security Agency Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (DISA STIGs).
· Manage trouble tickets (cradle to grave) via applicable applications approved through DDC/DLA.
The following requirements apply to the Systems Administrator’s position:
1. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
2. Experience with Microsoft’s Systems Management Server (SMS), REMEDY Service Desk Management Software, Veritas Backup, CITRIX Presentation Server, Symantec Antivirus and Globe Ranger.
3. Minimum of (4) years of full-time work experience in the field of IT and Telecom support services.
4. Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance.
